Nick Schnabel
Nick Schnabel brings more than two decades of Division I coaching experience to his work as a baseball consultant, most recently serving as Assistant Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Clemson University from 2022-2026. Under his direction, Clemson won 164 games over four seasons and hosted an NCAA Regional in three consecutive years (2023-2025), while his recruiting classes were consistently ranked among the nation's best, including a No. 11 national class in 2023.
Before Clemson, Nick spent nine seasons (2013-2022) as infield and hitting coach at the University of Michigan, where he helped lead the Wolverines to the 2019 College World Series Championship Series. That season, he was named the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) National Assistant Coach-of-the-Year. His coaching résumé also includes stops at East Carolina University, Liberty University, Army West Point, and Chipola College.
A native of Martinez, California, Nick began his playing career at Ohlone College before transferring to East Carolina University, where he was a First-Team All-Colonial Athletic Association selection and the 1999 CAA Defensive Player of the Year. He went on to play four seasons of professional baseball in the Montreal Expos organization before earning his communications degree from East Carolina in 2003.
Today, Nick draws on this deep well of playing, recruiting, and coaching experience to help athletes sharpen their skills and reach the next level.
Nick has spent 20+ years in Division I baseball as a player, developer, and recruiter - most recently as Assistant Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Clemson. He knows exactly what college coaches look for, because he did the recruiting himself. Now he works directly with a select group of families.
